I will use this “News” section to keep readers updated about new reviews and interviews, and previews of forthcoming projects. Because I seem to have some kind of writing compulsion (HYPERGRAPHIA, anyone?), and am perfectly happy to air my half-baked ideas to the world, I’ll also occasionally use this space as a blog to test out new ideas, or to post reviews of books that have really stirred my interest in some way.

For the coming months most of my news will be focused on Distracted: Why Students Can’t Focus and What You Can Do About It, to be published by Basic Books on October 20, 2020. Check back here for updates about new events focused on the book—mostly virtual for now—and recent media appearances.
